<span style="color: #222222;">Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said today that the general elections in the country will be held on time. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The CEC was in the Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow for the past two days to review poll preparations in the state. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief election commissioner along with Commissioners Ashok Lavasa and Sushil Chandra was addressing media persons at Lucknow.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Arora said the Election Commission is committed to holding free, fair and peaceful polls. He said all polling centre in Uttar Pradesh will be manned with VVPAT -EVM machines. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the commission will launch C-vigil App so that any citizen, whose name will be kept secret, can register his poll-related complaints.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The CEC said, as per a new notification of the commission, candidates will have to give details of their properties abroad, besides those in the country.&nbsp;</span><br />'' &nbsp;
