Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot today visited the mother of murdered Dalit student at Perumbavoor in Kerala. Later he held a high level meeting at Aluva attended by District Collector and other high dignitaries. Later briefing news men he said, he will make a detailed statement in Rajya Sabha tomorrow. <br/><br/>Meanwhile the Police have detained many people including two migrant labours as part of investigation. A Dalit law student was raped and murdered on 28th April at her residence near Perumbavoor in Ernakulam District.
