Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawarchand Gehlot today reviewed the progress implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana at the Central Advisory Committee meeting in New Delhi. <br/><br/>Mr Gehlot said following the success of the scheme in the 1000 pilot villages in Assam, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu, it is now extended to further 1500 Scheduled Caste majority villages in ten States. <br/><br/>In this phase Assam, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are included.
