Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot today distributed 270 Smart Phones and 40 Daisy Players to Divyangjan students on the occasion of world Braille Day. Mr Gehlot also distributed scholarships cheques of five lakhs rupees to each of 66 divyang students under National Scholarship Scheme of National Federation of the Blind. Addressing the function organized in New Delhi, Mr Gehlot said, government is dedicated for holistic development of every section of the society with the motto of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas. He expressed his happiness that the Department has successfully created four world records, which shows the commitment of the government towards the empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
