A Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against absconding ex-Haryana Minister Gopal Kanda in Geetika Sharma suicide case. The order was issued by a court in Rohini. The court asked the police to execute the arrest warrant by 24th of August. Earlier in the day, the police conducted fresh raids at Kanda's residence.

Investigators have picked up one of Kanda's relatives for questioning. Searches have been conducted at around 50 places and more than 25 people have been questioned. Kanda has been evading arrest for several days now.
