India's Geeta Kumari has won a Bronze in the 55 kilogram category of the World Women's Wrestling Championship at Edmonton, Canada. This is the second Bronze, India got at the championship. Her sister Babita had earlier clinched the medal for the country. It is for the first time that India had won two medals in the World Women,s Wrestling Championship. Alka Tomar had won a Bronze in the 2006 events.Silpi Sheoran and Navjot Kaur finished fifth in their weight categories.
