In an unprecedented development, the pro-Pakistan hardline separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani has decided not to attend the Eid Milan (Eid celebration get together) being hosted by the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on July 21. He said this is to register protests against what he called ignoring Kashmir Issue by Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Russia last week. Hardline Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar confirmed to AIR that Syed Ali Geelani has expressed deep resentment over exclusion of Kashmir issue during talks between two Prime Ministers in the Russian city of Ufa on July 10.
