The annual summit of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is taking place in Kuwait on Monday where economy and Yemen conflict are expected to dominate the agenda. Analysts say that Iran's nuclear issue and its impact on regional security are also expected to be discussed. The Summit may also give the go-ahead to a common currency apart from number of economic projects, including a multi-billion-dollar railway network and a common power grid project. GCC Secretary General Abdul Rahman al-Attiya has said on the eve of the Summit that the GCC leaders would endorse the long-expected monetary union in their Summit that would lead to the issue of the common currency at an appropriate time. The GCC was established in 1981, which includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.<br/>
