The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers have expressed the hope of resolving the crisis in Yemen. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan said in Abu Dhabi last evening that GCC will soon take the next step to end the impasse in Yemen. He informed that GCC ministers had talks with the opposition leaders and members from the ruling party in Yemen and the next step is being discussed. In a statement, issued at the end of a joint meeting between GCC foreign ministers and their European Union counterparts in Abu Dhabi last evening, the GCC ministers expressed deep concern at the situation in Yemen saying the current impasse between the various parties might decline quickly into more serious confrontation and conflict.
