The Jalandhar (Rural) police has busted a gang of inter-state auto-thieves and arrested its three members, on Saturdayday. The police has recovered 18 cars, two pistols and ammunition from their possession. The arrested gangsters admitted to have committed over 100 cases of auto-thefts at gun point. More arrests are expected.Addressing media persons, the Punjab DGP, PS Gill revealed that the gang used to commit car thefts in various parts of the state and sold them in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh after fixing fake registration numbers on them.
