In Andhra Pradesh, Ganesh immersion is being held in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad today. The immersion marks the culmination of Ganesh Chathurthi which was celebrated on 11th of this month. About 13,000 Ganesh idols installed in various parts of the capital are being immersed in Hussainsagar near Tank Bund in the heart of the capital. The immersion processions with vehicles carrying the Ganesh idols from different parts of the city have begun a short while ago. The devotees are participating in the immersion festivities with lot of enthusiasm.
