<span style="color: #222222;">Gandhinagar district of Gujarat has become the first Kerosene-free district of the state today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has allotted one thousand LPG connections to the women beneficiaries of Gandhinagar district today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shah said that cooking gas connections to the rural women have been allotted under the Ujjwala Yojana. ONGC has completed this scheme at the cost of 6.13 crore rupees covering more than 75 thousand beneficiaries.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The Home Minister also handed over 480 middle-income group houses to the beneficiaries at Kudasan near Gandhinagar. These houses have been built by the Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority – GUDA. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also dedicated various drinking water schemes and gardens in Kudasan, Sargasan, Raysan and Vaval in Gandhinagar district on this occasion.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Mr Shah also laid the foundation stones of several development projects including one underpass and two roads. These projects will be completed under the Gandhinagar Smart City Yojana. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also inaugurated the integrated control centre and distributed beneficiary cards for the schemes of widow women, old age persons and Ayushyaman Bharat Yojana.
