The Games village for the Delhi Commonwealth Games was opened this morning with about 700 delegates and diplomatic staff from the participating countries joining the registration process. It will house more than 8000 athletes and officials arriving in the capital from 23rd of this month for the October mega event.The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Tejinder Khanna expressed confidence that the Delhi Commonwealth Games will be remembered by the visitors and athletes as one of the most memorable one.
