South Africa has won the first cricket Test match against Sri Lanka by 153 runs on the fifth and final day in Galle on Sunday.Chasing a target of 370, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 216 in their second innings.The match looked evenly poised when play started on Sunday with hosts needing to make 260 runs with nine wickets in hand.But Dale Steyn made a quick inroad, dismissing opener Kaushal Silva in the first hour of play.Jayawardene and Sangakkara were the next to go in quick succession, starting a collapse.Earlier, South Africa made 455-9 declared in their first innings before bowling out the home side for 292.In their second knock, South Africa declared at 206-6 to set Sri Lanka a target of 370.The second and final Test of the series will be played in Colombo from July 24.
