A 22-member women's hockey squad has been announced for the New Zealand tour. As per a Hockey India release, the squad was picked after a two-day selection trial in Bhopal. Veteran striker Surinder Kaur will lead the squad in the five-match Test series. The first Test is scheduled for May 15. Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Max Mirnyi have conceded their men's doubles final match of the Monte Carlo Masters. It was because Bhupathi was forced to retire due to a leg injury.
