Gadkari to set up Farm-produce Export Facilities near airports

Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari has called for setting up of the Farm-produce Export Facilities near airports at Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Aurangabad on the line of Gujarat model.<br/><br/>He suggested that at least five acres each of the land should be made available for this purpose which would go a long way in boosting exports of the farm produce and contribute in prosperity of the farming community. He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the Farming Workshops organized as part of one of the largest Agricultural Exhibition in Central India arranged by the Agro-Vision Foundation in Nagpur yesterday. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh and Maharashtra Minister for Social Justice Rajkumar Badole were also present on the occasion.
