The Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 12 noon. The members of the opposition demanded a discussion on the alleged bugging issue in the house of Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.

They were insisting that the members of the House have issued a notice and a discussion must take place.

Replying to this,Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. M.Venkaiah Naidu said that there is no truth in reports that appeared in the media, and Home
Minister Raj Nath Singh has denied those reports.

But the unrelenting members of the opposition including Congress, SP and JD(U) continued with their demand for discussion and an explanation.

The Chairman of the House Mr. Hamid Ansari however urged the agitating members to cooperate for smooth conduct of the question hour as some important issues were to be taken up.

But the members of the opposition did not relent, forcing the chairman to adjourn the House. Ealier, as soon as it met this morning, was adjourned for 15 minutes .
