Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis flagged off the 5000th Advanced Composite Floor Beam Assembly meant for the Boeing Dreamliner series aircrafts at Multi-modal International Hub Airport at Nagpur on Saturday.<br/><br/>The two leaders also inaugurated the Generic Manufacturing Facility of TAL Manufacturing Solutions Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Tata Motors Limited, operating in the MIHAN-SEZ area. <br/><br/>The newly set up facility is equipped with special technologies like fluid cell forming, solution annealing, extrusion stretch wrapping, special chemical processes and assembly capabilities. <br/><br/>With this, TAL has got the distinction of processing composite, sheet-metal and machined parts and assemblies under a common roof.<br/><br/>Mr. Nitin Gadkari and Mr. Devendra Fadnavis also launched the first centralized kitchen of the Bengaluru-based Akshay Patra Foundation commissioned for providing the mid-day meals to the school children in Nagpur. <br/><br/>About 5,500 students from 24 schools of Nagpur Municipal Corporation along with 20 other schools in the city have been chosen for this purpose as a part of this pilot project.
