Mr Nitin Gadkari was elected unopposed as BJP President for three years in the organisational polls held today. Mr Gadkari was nominated to the party post by the BJP Parliamentary Board in December last to succeed Mr Rajnath Singh. Briefing media persons in New Delhi, Party General Secrertary and Returning Officer, Thawar Chand Gehlot said that BJP Parliamentary Party had received 19 nominations from 13 states, all in favour of Mr. Gadkari. His election will be ratified at the National Executive and National Council meeting which will be convened at Indore later this month.<br/><br/>
