Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has denied giving any favour to IRB Developers Limited for infrastructure development in Jammu and Kashmir. Responding to the allegations made by Congress leader Digvijay Singh, Mr Gadkari said in New Delhi this evening that due process of e-tendering was followed in awarding the contract. The Minister also said that his son has nothing to do with IRB Developers infrastructure. <br/><br/>Earlier, Digvijay Singh in a press conference accused Mr Gadkari of awarding the contract of Zoji La Pass Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir to single bidder- IRB violating the guidelines of CVC. Mr Singh said, IRB Infra, which has been given 10 thousand crore rupees contract in Jammu and Kashmir, has no experience of high altitude infrastructure.
