Facing allegations of corruption, BJP President Nitin Gadkari today said in Mumbai that all charges against him were baseless and he was ready for a probe to come clean. Gadkari rejected allegations of holding benami flats in Adarsh Housing Society in Mumbai or having any role in the recently exposed irrigation scam in Maharashtra. He also said that he had no business links with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief and Union Minister Sharad Pawar and Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Sancheti. Yesterday open inquiries were conducted by the Income Tax department at the premises of companies which invested in Purti Sugar and Power run by BJP Chief Nitin Gadkari.
