In Maharashtra, five Maoists belonging to Chatgaon Area Committee have been arrested. They are suspected to be involved in an attack on the Central Reserve Police Force team in Dhanora taluka of Gadchiroli district on 27th of March . The arrested Maoists have been identified as Chatgaon Rasha Party Vice President Nanaji Pada, Militia Dalam Commander Dashratha Halami along with Birju alias Naresh Sankuzuri, Rahul Aatla and Ranjit Vaidya. A local court in Dhanora has remanded them to police custody till April 9.
