In Maharashtra, five Maoists belonging to Chatgaon Area Committee suspected to be involved in an attack on the Central Reserve Police Force team in Dhanora taluka of Gadchiroli district on 27th of March .They were arrested in a joint operation by the police and CRPF following the attack. The arrested Maoists have been identified as Chatgaon Rasha Party Vice President Nanaji Pada, Militia Dalam Commander Dashratha Halami along with Birju alias Naresh Sankuzuri, Rahul Aatla and Ranjit Vaidya. A local court in Dhanora has remanded them to police custody till April 9.
