Inaugurating the first session, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan has said that India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been growing rapidly in economy, trade, and education. He said that the Prime Minister's welfare schemes for the youth, education, and human resource development have provided India an opportunity to prove that it can lend a helping hand to countries that are in need.<br />''<br />''In his address, India's G-20 Sherpa, Amitabh Kant said that the world has been facing challenges in economy, unemployment, and other factors which hamper growth and development. He quoted that according to the IMF, one-third of the world was undergoing recession and the banks in the United States were facing a crisis. He said that India had always responded to the agenda set by the developed world and this was the first time that India was setting the agenda for the world. The three critical factors are important for the Presidency to be effective. These are the political,developmental narratives and priorities and how well it should be recognised. He said that inclusive development initiatives are much needed worldwide.<br />''<br />''The young ambassador's summit began with the theme fuelling the future of global youth. Delivering his address, Tamilnadu Governor R.N.Ravi said that India has a long tradition full of ancient values and literature which dates back to several centuries. He said that colonial times were not favourable for the development of Indian society. He said that India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had handled critical challenges like Covid and brought back the economy of the Country.</span><br />
