Mr. G. Mohanty on Friday took over as the new Director General News, All India Radio. He replaces Mr. Mohan Chandak who is now posted as the Director General Field Publicity. Mr. Mohanty belongs to the 1982 batch of Indian Information Services. Before joining AIR, he was posted as Director General in the Office of the Registrar of Newspapers for India, RNI.
