<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy today demanded the Telangana State Government to allocate three acres of land for the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which was earlier known as National Institute of Communicable Diseases. He wrote a letter to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in this regard. He recalled that the State Government has agreed in principle to allocate three acres of land for NCDC two years ago. He further said, the old building as offered by the State Government could not help the national-level institution and officials who examined the proposal last year said the old buildings will be insufficient.<br />''<br />''The Minister asked the State Government to immediately allocate the necewssary land so that the NCDC will be useful for the medical research and medical establishments in public and private sectors. Mr Reddy said, the Centre is going to develop the NCDC into a key scientific institution for the benefit of people like NIN, CCMB and IICT.</span><br />
