G-20 summit in Brisbane concludes

G-20 Summit concluded at Brisbane in Australia this afternoon with a declaration on many global economic issues. The summit endorsed India's stand on black money. The transparency clause was included in the final draft of the declaration at the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The grouping of advanced and emerging economies also agreed to support India on food security at WTO.

After the summit Prime Minister's Sherpa and Railway Minister S. Prabhu told reporters that outcome of the G20 summit have been very significant from India's point of view. the Prime Minister was the most sought after leader in the summit. He said development issues, at least two percent global economic growth and automatic exchange of information regarding bank accounts were the highlights of the agenda of the Summit. He said the world leaders praised India's plan for financial inclusion of Pradhan Mantri's Jan Dhan Yojana.
