Army Chief General. Bipin Rawat has said that the future challenges continue to demand greater commitments from the Indian Army. He said while Army's focus is towards infusion of technology for better capabilities in its weapon system, there is need to upgrade the required training benchmarks for optimal exploitation of these systems.<br/><br/>In his message on 70th Army Day, General Rawat said Jointmanship and integration of available resources will remain to be the fundamentals of success on battlefield. <br/><br/>He said, while operational effectiveness to meet future challenges will remain Army's priority, contribution to nation building initiatives remains an abiding theme. He said Indian Army's bilateral engagements with other armies of the world are increasing and so is military diplomacy gaining ground.
