Funeral of Pak's Minorities Minister Bhatti’s held in Islamabad

The funeral of Pakistan's Minorities Minister Shahbaz Bhatti who challenged the country's blasphemy law was held in Islamabad today. Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani attended the funeral. Bhatti, was gunned down on Wednesday in Islamabad. Demonstrators outside the church demanded punishment for Bhatti's killers. Bhatti's body was then flown to Faisalabad in Punjab for burial in his native village nearby. Militants linked to Taliban and al-Qaida extremists have claimed responsibility for the attack, saying they killed Bhatti for opposing the blasphemy law. Security has been tight in both Islamabad and Khushpur. Lawmakers representing Pakistani minorities have demanded the government bring Bhatti's killers to justice.
