Dismissing Gujarat Chief Minister's claim the Prime Minister's Officer has asserted that the main issue for the centre is to create employment opportunities and eradication of poverty. Reacting to Modi's remarks, the PMO said UPA government allocates funds to states according to the mutually agreed formula for economic justice. It further added that states who used to grow slow in earlier times have done much better now.
