Three days after tsunami struck the remote Menawi islands in Indonesia, the full scale of the disaster is emerging. Rescue teams have reached most of the worst-affected areas. They found homes and offices flattened, large tracks of land under water and swollen bodies strewn across roads and beaches.The chairman of the Island's Legislative Council after inspecting one of the affected areas, said buildings within a kilometers of a radius of the beach were destroyed. Many lost everything they owned.More relief teams are being sent to isolated coastal communities in Indonesia that were devastated by tsunami on Monday. Hundreds of rescue workers have fanned out of the worst affected areas to help survivors. At least 370 people are confirmed dead.Amid the destruction, an 18-month old baby has been found alive amid trees by a ten year old boy who himself lost both his parents.
