Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said full protection will be given to all migrant workers in the state.To boost up their confidence level, Onam kits,containing essential provision items will be distributed to them during the current festival season.He was briefing newspersons in Thiruvananthapuram,after the weekly Cabinet meeting.He informed an assistance of three lakh rupees each will be given to the next of kin of those who died in the recent landslides and floods in Kozhikode and Ernakulam districts.Chief Minister said five cents of land will be provided to those who lost their houses in the mishap.Government will help them in constructing houses, he said.
