The full Election Commission has arrived in Kolkata Thursday morning to review the election preparedness in West Bengal for the remaining three phases of polls. The Chief Election Commissioner S.Y. Quraishi and two other Election Commissioners V.S. Sampat and H.S. Brahma will hold meetings with the representatives of the political parties. AIR Kolkata correspondent reports that the full Commission will also hold review meetings with the District Magistrates, Police Superintendents, DIGs, IGs of Police and Divisional Commissioners of seven districts – Howrah, Hooghly, East Midnapore, Bardhaman , West Midnapore, Bankura and Purulia which will go to polls in the fourth phase. The team of the Election Commission will also meet the top brass of the State administration – Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and Director General of Police to take stock of election arrangements for the remaining phases.
