The full dress rehearsal took place this morning in connection with the Independence Day Celebrations at the Red Fort. <br/><br/>Ahead of the Independence Day, Delhi Police has issued an order prohibiting sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders, para-motors, hang gliders. The order also prohibits Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Unmanned Aerial Systems, microlight aircrafts, remotely piloted aircrafts, hot air balloons and small size powered aircrafts, Special teams will be deputed in the national capital to overcome any potential air borne threat such as drones. <br/><br/>Elaborate security arrangements are put in place for the Independence Day celebrations at the historic Red Fort. More than 5,000 Delhi Policemen and 1,000 paramilitary personnel will be deployed at the venue apart from elite NSG commandos and intelligence officials. AIR correspondent reports, ahead of Independence Day function, traffic restrictions will be enforced in the city.
