In Pune, city police have came up with an innovative measure to create awareness about anti-terrorism.
A short film made by students of Films and Television institute of India with the help of Pune police is being screened in the city’s multiplexes.
It has been released as part of a tribute to 26-11 martyrs.
The three minute film revolves around united efforts against terrorism.
The students of FTII, as a part of their internship project, shot the film with the police personnel over a period of two weeks in the city areas.
The film throws light on the importance of citizens to be vigilant with regards to unattended suitcases or bags. It gives the audience an insight into the action taken by the police after being alerted by the citizens.
The film aims to strengthen the ties between the citizens and police and according to many viewers it serves its purpose.
Pune police is planning to show this film in schools and colleges also.
