FTII row: I&B team holds fruitful talks with students

The committee sent by Ministry of I&B had discussions with the faculty members, Non-teaching staff and Agitating students of FTII in Pune today. After the discussions while talking with the reporters, Committee chairman S. M. Khan said that the discussion with the students was very fruitful and the ongoing strike in FTII is expected to end soon.<br/><br/>Students from Films and Television Institute are on the strike from past 71 days. In order to find out an amicable solution on students' issues the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting had sent a tri member committee to FTII under the leadership of The Registrar of Newspapers S. M. Khan. The committee is expected to submit its report to the ministry by Monday. The students also confirmed a fruitful discussion, however said that they will continue with their strike till there demands are met.
