In Nepal, the friction between the ruling allies CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist) continues on the proposal of reshuffling the Ministers. At a programme in the capital Kathmandu on Wednesday, CPN-UML Standing Committee member Pradeep Gyawali said that Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal would rather resign from his post than induct the new ministers recommended by the Maoist. He said that the Maoist proposal to reshuffle the cabinet at this juncture is irrelevant, incorrect saying it is time to form a national consensus government. Meanwhile, UCPN (Maoist) Secretary CP Gajurel has claimed that the ministers recommended by his party to represent in the Cabinet would be inducted by Thursday. He added that the Maoists would withdraw its support to the current government if the recommended ministers were not sworn in. The Maoists has recommended 24 names for it ministerial team, which include 12 for Cabinet ministers and 12 state ministers. AIR correspondent reports, the fate of the Jhala Nath led Government hangs in balance as the it’s main ally the Maoist has decided that it would not withdraw the list of the new ministers to be inducted in the government. The Maoist has said it is an internal matter and threatened to withdraw its support from the government. The Nepali Congress for the third day today did not let the parliament function calling for the resignation of the Prime minister under the five point deal.
