Fresh talks to end the over 100 day impasse at FTII Pune will be held next week when a delegation of the students protesting against the appointment of actor Gajendra Chauhan as Institute Chairman will meet Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Colonel Rajyawardhan Singh Rathod in New Delhi.<br/><br/>Representative of the FTII Students' Association Ranajit Nair said today that the venue and time of the meeting is not yet decided.<br/><br/>The students have been boycotting classes since June 12.<br/><br/>They already had 4 rounds of talks with Ministry Officials but all of theme were inconclusive.<br/><br/>The prolonged deadlock has brought the academic activity on the campus to a standstill.<br/><br/>In the mean time On Tuesday, local court at Pune had rejected a plea for anticipatory bail by 12 FTII students booked for hooliganism during the August 18 incident of gherao of the institute director Prashant Pathrabe, who had alleged "mental torture and manhandling" by them.
