Fresh spell of snowfall in J&K revives cold condition

In Jammu and Kashmir, with the fresh spell of snowfall in the upper reaches last night and in the lower areas Tuesday morning, the cold conditions have revived in Ladakh region. The minimum temperature recorded this morning at Leh town was minus 3.2 degree Celcius. AIR correspondent reports, snow fall has badly affected the region's connectivity with the other parts of the country and Ladakh itself. Flights operation between New Delhi and Leh and Jammu have been cancelled on Tuesday. Due to closure of road till summer, which connect the region with the other parts of the country, flight is the only mode of transportation between the state HQ for people and the tourists. MeT Dept official has further predicted snowfalls during the next 24 Hours in some parts of the state.
