French Unions call for another day of protests and strikes against pension reforms

French Unions have called for another day of protests and strikes against pension reforms even though they have now been approved by Parliament. The National Assembly followed the Senate in voting to change the retirement age from 60 to 62. The Unions said the protests will continue with strikes planned for today in more than a hundred towns and cities. Reports say that flights to Paris airport and around a third of services to other French airports face cancellation. Trains, post offices, schools and public services will all be affected again.
