French Open's Mixed Doubles: Paes, Elena waltz into quarterfinals

India's Leander Paes and his Russian partner Elena Vesnina have waltzed into the quarterfinals of the Mixed Doubles category in the French Open Tennis tournament at Paris. <br/><br/>In the pre-quarterfinals yesterday, the fifth seeded Indo-Russian pair defeated the French duo of Marc Gicquel and Mathilde Johansson in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.<br/><br/>Today, the Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza will lock horns with the French combine of Nicolas Devilder and Virginie Razanno for a place in the Mixed Doubles quarterfinals.<br/><br/>In yesterday's another result, the Indo-Austrian pair of Leander Paes and Alexander made a shock exit from the Men's Doubles category of the tournament. <br/><br/>The seventh seeded Indo-Austrian pair was stunned by Russia's Mikhail Elgin and his partner from Uzbekistan, Denis Istomin, 4-6, 1-6.
