French Open:Indian Pair of Raja-Sharan in pre-quarters, Paes crashes out of mixed and men's doubles

The Indian pair of Purav Raja and Divij Sharan advanced to the pre-quarterfinals of French Open in men's doubles in Paris today after an upset win.The pair of Rohan Bopanna and his Uruguayan partner Pablo Cuevas entered the pre-quarter-finals in men's doubles as well. Rohan Bopanna pairing with Canada's Gabriela Dabrovasky also entered the second round of Mixed doubles. However, Leander Paes made an exit in both the men's doubles and mixed doubles.The unseeded Raja and Sharan upstaged the 15th-seeded Austrian-Croat combo of Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic 6-4, 3 -6, 6-4 in a second-round match.Rohan Bopanna and his partner Pablo Cuevas defeated American-Uzbek pair of Treat Huey and Denis Istomin in men's doubles. Bopanna and Dabrovasky also reached the second round of mixed doubles.However, Paes and his American partner Scott Lipsky lost 6-7, 2-6 to David Marrero and Tommy Robredo in men's doubles. In Mixed Doubles too Leander Paes faced defeat along with his Swiss partner Martina Hingis in the first round itself.
