The French Open tennis starts at the Roland Garros Stadium in Paris from tomorrow. It will be the 116th edition of the tournament and the second Grand Slam of the year, consisting events in singles, doubles and mixed doubles play. Junior and wheelchair players will also take part in singles and doubles events.Serbia's Novak Djokovic is the defending champion in the Men's singles and Spain's Garbine Muguruza is the defending champion in the Women's Singles. For the first time in French Open history, both reigning champions of the Australian Open – Serena Williams and Roger Federer- withdrew before the start of the tournament.Spain's Rafael Nadal will be the favourite to claim his 10th French Open title. The 30 year old Nadal has already reached the magical 10 titles number this year in Monte Carlo and Barcelona. The women's event is regarded as being wide open with Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka all absent.
