In French Open tennis, Australia's Samantha Stosur and Italy's Sara Irani have powered their way into the women's singles semi-finals. In the quarter finals played in Paris today, Samantha beat Dominika Cibulkava of Slovakia 6-4, 6-1 and Irani defeated Ejilke Kerber of Germany 6-3, 7-6. The quarter final mixed doubles match between Indo-Russian pair of Leander Paes and Elina Vesnina and US- Belarus duo of Max Mirnyi and Lyzel Huber is in progress. Other quarter final matches currently going on in Paris in men's singles events include clash between Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Wilfred Tsonga of France and Roger Federer of Switzerland and Juan Martin Del Potro of the United States.
