Fifth-seeded Robin Soderling of Sweden has entered the Men's Singles Final of the French Open Tennis Championships. In the first semi-final at Roland Garros in Paris today, he defeated 15th seed Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in five sets 6-3, 3-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6-3. Soberling is in the Singles final of the French Open for the second consecutive time. Last year, he lost to Swiss star Roger Federer. The second Men's semi-final between Rafel Nadal and Jurgen Melzer is now in progress. In the Women's Doubles, American sisters Venus and Serena, emerged victorious in the final. They beat the duo of Kveta Peschke of the Czech Repulic and Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.
