In the Men's Doubles opening round match yesterday, the fourth seeded Indian duo lost to the Polish pair of Tomasz Bednarek and Jerzy Narowicz, 5-7, 4-6. However, the ninth seeded Indo-Austrian pair of Leander Paes and Jurgen Melzer advanced to the second round, after beating the French team of Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Renavand, 6-3, 6-3.Somdev Devvarman will clash with World Number Two Roger Federer of Switzerland in the Men's Singles second round today.
