French Open: Nadal, Tsonga, Na Li enter 2nd round

Top seeds like Spain's Rafael Nadal, Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska and Na Li of China on Monday advanced into the second round of the French Open Tennis tournament in Paris.In the Men's Singles opening round, while Tsonga defeated Aljaz Bedene of Slovenia, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3, defending champion Nadal came back from a set down and beat German Daniel Brands, 4-6, 7-6, 6-4, 6-3.In the Men's Singles first round, Agnieszka Radwanska brushed aside Shaher Peer of Israel, 6-1, 6-1, while Na Li sailed past Anabel Medina Garrigues, 6-3, 6-4.Indian Tennis stars will be seen in action in the Doubles categories, later in the tournament.In the Men's Doubles opening round, the fourth seeded Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna will take on the Polish pair of Tomasz Bednarek and Jerzy Narowicz, while the ninth seeded Indo-Austrian pair of Leander Paes and Jurgen Melzer will meet the French team of Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Renavand.In the Women's Doubles first round, the Indo-American duo of Sania Mirza and Bethanie Mattek-Sands will clash with the French pair of Alize Cornet and Virginie Razzano.The Mixed Doubles fixture has not been declared yet.
