The 110th edition of the French Open Tennis Tournament begins in Paris today. Defending champion and World number one Rafael Nadal will take on Wimbledon marathon man John Isner in the opening encounter. The Spaniard will tackle the giant American as he begins the hunt for a sixth title at Roland Garros to equal Bjorn Borg's record. Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi will yet again carry India's title hopes at French Open, where they won their first and last Grand Slam title together. Rohan Bopanna's partnership with Pakistan's Aisam-ul-haq Quershi will look to improve their record in Grand Slams. In the singles event, Somdev is up against World no. 36 Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia, while Sania Mirza has been drawn against Kristina Barrois of Germany.
