At the French Open, world number one Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray have advanced to the Men's semifinals. Britain's Murray produced a late surge to beat Gael Monfils in the quarter finals yesterday. In another quarter final match, Spain's Rafael Nadal fought back to beat fellow Spaniard and fifth seed David Ferrer. Eight time champion Nadal will now face Murray in a repeat of the 2011 semifinal. In the Women's singles semifinal, seventh seeded Maria Sharapova of Russia will take on Canadian Eugenie Bouchard who is seeded 18th. In the other semifinal, fourth seeded Romanian Simona Halep will meet Andrea Petkovic of Germany.
