Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza has reached the finals of the French Open Mixed Doubles tennis. In the semis played in Paris today, they defeated the Kazak-Italian pair of Galina Voskoboeva and Danielle Bracialli 6-4, 6-2. The other mixed doubles semi-final match slated for today will be between Indo-Russian pair of Leander Paes and Elena Vesnina and the Mexican-Polish pair of Santiago Gonzalez and Klaudia Jans-Ignacik. Yesterday, Leander Paes and Elena Vesnina stormed into the Mixed Doubles semi-finals, beating the top seeded Belarusian-American combine of Mix Mirnyi and Liezel Huber, 4-6, 7-5, 10-5.
